Hello, I am Ava
I work as a project manager. A parent. An expat residing in London, United Kingdom.
A few years back I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to United Kingdom wasn't in our long-term plan. Like many expat moves, it began as a job opportunity and soon grew into something much bigger.
The early months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, new expectations. Everyday tasks seemed more complex than they should.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. But gradually, routines took shape. We found places that worked for us, connected with other families, and began building something that felt stable.
Why I Built TelTropExaKel
Most information online was either corporate-level relocation advice or surface-level tourism material. What was missing was honest, day-to-day family perspective.
This site exists to close that gap — practical guidance based on real life in United Kingdom.
What This Site Stands For (And What It Doesn't)
This site PROVIDES:
- Hands-on insights from living in United Kingdom
- Centered on family life and daily realities
- Updated when real changes occur
This site DOESN'T:
- An official tourism authority resource
- A sponsored review platform
- Just another generic travel blog
Looking Ahead
Our time in United Kingdom continues, as does the learning journey. As long as the information remains useful, I’ll keep documenting what we discover.
If you have questions about family life in London or anywhere in United Kingdom, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Best regards,
Ava
